Patricio Wills steps down as president of Telemundo Studios but will continue producing

It was unofficially divulged that Patricio Wills would enter a new agreement with Telemundo-NBC, where he would step down as president of Telemundo Studios but continue to produce content for the network through his company RTI, which is also a partner of Telemundo.The departure of Wills from daily operation of the studios comes at a time where its most recent product, La Reina del Sur, reached the highest ratings in Telemundo’s history, doubling the results of the previous leading telenovela ¿Dónde está Elisa, also produced by Wills and his team. La Reina del Sur may very well mark a before and after in Telemundo’s history.It is believed that RTI, now with Wills taking the reins full time, not only will continue to offer content to Telemundo, but also to other companies of international caliber.
