TV Azteca presented Rafael Rodriguez Sánchez as the new general director, position occupied by Benjamin Salinas during the last five years, and who is now VP of the Board of Directors of Grupo Salinas.
“Rafael Rodríguez takes the reins of TV Azteca to continue and reinforce the transformation and alignment processes within the company that Benjamín Salinas started, which implies deep structural, organizational, and financial transformations to ensure the success, validity, and solvency of the company in the future,” expressed the company in a statement.
Rodríguez has been in the company for 20 years. Before this responsibility, he held the position of Legal Director. The executive is a lawyer from La Salle University, he has studies in Telecommunications from the ITAM and additional post-graduate studies from the Institute of Directors in England.
