Maribel Ramos-Weiner| 14 de enero de 2016

RTVE will be in NATPE with two of their divisions: Content Sales and Channel Sales. There, María Jesús Pérez, assistant director of Channel Sales, will be in charge of presenting the new channel Star TVE HD, which arrives to open a new window for the best products made in RTVE.The official launching date is January 18th and it coincides with NATPE. However, the channel has been introduced to several markets and has already aroused the interest of operators in Chile, Argentina, Central America, Puerto Rico and the US.“RTVE has been investing in high quality audiovisual products that are attractive to a global Spanish-speaking audience. Due to the general programming policy of its channels, RTVE includes in its catalogues a number of excellent series and programs in native HD that have only been aired once in conventional channels”, explained Pérez. “We trust that TVE HD will be well received by Natpe attendants and that the entire package of RTVE channels (TVE, 24 Horas y Star HD) will receive international diffusion”, she added. The executive also confirmed RTVE´s interest in co-producing with companies in the region: “Conversations have already been initiated in this regard, which we hope will yield their fruit very soon”, she commented.
