Sierra/Engine partners with Pixo Entertaintment to produce animated series Don Cheto for Electus and LatinWEs channel NuevOn

Global production and distribution venture, Sierra/Engine Television is partnering with complete mobile gaming and entertainment content development company, Pixo Entertainment, co-executive producer Christopher Spellman, and co-executive producers Juan Carlos Razo and Pepe Garza of Talento Inc. to produce an animated series entitled Don Cheto for Electus and LatinWEs YouTube channel, NuevOn.This project marks the second series Chris Philip has been involved with for NuevOn after having successfully launched Mexicos leading comedy troupe, La Gran Royal, together with Engine partner Paulette Bensussen, where they have achieved over 22 million views for the Colibritany sketches.Don Cheto, known as el hombre del vozarrón” (“the loud-voiced man”), is a top-rated morning radio show host and icon to millions of Latinos in the US and is the host of El Show de Don Cheto, an hour-long Spanish language variety show featuring sketches, games and a live band.Don Chetos fan base is tremendous and his millions of followers will make an immediate impact on the shows success. This will be the Family Guy for Latinos and NuevOn is the perfect home for the series, commented Philip.”In NuevOn we are always offering Hispanic talent, their fans and YouTube audiences new and fun ways to connect and interact. Don Cheto’s charisma and sense of humor appeals to a wide Hispanic audience and provides for amazing content in a cartoon. The animated series will follow Don Cheto, a first generation Mexican father trying to raise his family in America. The series will be written by Marcos Bucay & Moisés Aisemberg (La Gran Royal).
