Tarima TV, a signal distributed by Condista, is the first platform for concerts in Spanish in the US.

“There is no other channel that gathers the range of artist concerts we offer, from Luis Miguel, J Balvim, and Shakira to Maluma. It is a platform people enjoy and we launched it three years ago in the Caribbean and two years ago in the US. In the US we are on Altice and Suddenlink and on Olympusat´s Vemox OTT. In the Caribbean on Claro and on Altice. In Mexico, we are on a cable operator,” comment Luis Martínez, director of Strategy, and Freddy Arias, Digital Media executive, both from Tarima.

There are negotiations to enter two OTT platforms in the first quarter of 2020. They added that they have plans to enter other Latin American markets such as Honduras, Colombia, and Peru and expand their presence in Mexico.

Martínez added that the Hispanic audience is very fond of music and it is a niche no other channel has been able to conquer in Spanish. “Every day we receive hundreds of comments from people who like the channel. It has had great acceptance,” they detailed.

Regarding contents, they explained that many are recorded by them in the different locations of the concerts, others are acquired from producers or are licensed and others yet come from record companies.

The signal is offered in the packages in Spanish in the US and have ad sales.
