Telemundo cancels Don Francisco Te Invita after more than 100 broadcasts

Telemundo decided to cancel the interview and variety show hosted by Mario Kreutzberger (Don Francisco) titled Don Francisco Te Invita, that is aired on Sundays at 10pm. The last day of production will be on September 8. The host will continue with Telemundo on other projects.

“After more than 100 broadcasts, Don Francisco Te Invita has fulfilled its cycle and its last program will be aired in December. Don Francisco is a big Hispanic television icon and an integral part of the Telemundo family. We are very happy he will continue to work with the network and participate in other projects next year, including several specials with high-profile guests. We are thrilled to be able to work with him to continue making Telemundo the favorite channel of Hispanics in the US,” said a statement issued by the network.

Don Francisco Te Invita is produced at the Cisneros Studios facilities in Medley, Miami.
