Telemundo has secured exclusive rights across all media platforms in the U.S. in Spanish, bolstering its Rumbo al Mundial portfolio leading up to its exclusive Spanish-language coverage of FIFA World Cup 2026

Concacaf, Mediapro North America, and IMG have announced that they have reached a comprehensive agreement with Telemundo for the Concacaf Qualifiers for the FIFA World Cup 2026, covering Spanish-language media rights in the United States.

The deal marks a strategic move that expands and enhances access to and reach of premier soccer coverage for Spanish-speaking audiences in the U.S.

Under the agreement, Telemundo has secured exclusive rights across all media platforms in the U.S. in Spanish, bolstering its Rumbo al Mundial portfolio leading up to its exclusive Spanish-language coverage of the FIFA World Cup 2026 and reinforcing Telemundo’s position as the go-to Spanish-language network for premier sporting events.

As part of the agreement, Mediapro and IMG will deliver high-quality broadcast signals, international graphics, and commentaries.

“As we build toward an unprecedented FIFA World Cup 2026 in our region, it is essential that fans across the Concacaf footprint have access to world-class coverage of the journey. This partnership with Telemundo reinforces our commitment to delivering the best of our game to Spanish-speaking audiences in the United States, and we are excited to work with trusted partners in Mediapro and IMG to bring the qualifiers to life,” said Philippe Moggio, Concacaf General Secretary.

“We are committed to serving our audiences with the most important soccer events and the most relevant sports content. As we build momentum toward the FIFA World Cup 2026, this partnership allows us to deliver even more world-class competition and capture all the action leading up to this historic tournament,” added Joaquin Duro, EVP, Sports, Telemundo.

“This collaboration between Mediapro, IMG, Concacaf, and Telemundo to bring the World Cup Qualifiers to Spanish-speaking audiences in the U.S. underscores our strategic vision and commitment to growing the sport across borders. We are proud to continue expanding access to elite football through high-quality broadcasts, innovation, and teamwork with top partners,” commented Irantzu Díez-Gamboa, CEO of Mediapro North America.

“This deal with Telemundo Networks ensures Spanish-speaking football fans in the U.S. will enjoy every minute,” said Chris Bull, Football Account Director, IMG.
