Televisa’s Canal 5 refreshes logo of its PM block and launches its campaign #Bendita Primavera

Campaign #Bendita Primavera

With just a few months on the air, the PM block of Televisa’s Canal 5 launched its new image. It includes a new logo and the multiplatform campaign #Bendita Primavera, which through a video, tries to show the sexy side of its female anchors.The cast from the block’s shows was in charge to unveil the details of the campaign, which features an interactive video where the audience will elect one of the PM girls as the queen of the bendita primavera, or holy spring.“We want people to know that on Canal 5 and all of the channels of the group that we’re busy trying to reach our audience through different platforms, and seeing how popular social media is, why not take risks and do things differently,” said Faisy, host of the show Me Caigo De Risa.The host added that this campaign could be followed on Youtube, Twitter, and Facebook, “obviously following exclusive content online from each of our shows. We also bring a new, more relaxed logo, supported by a campaign aimed at reaching young viewers and speak their language.”The video was shot in Acapulco with music by Mexican bands Origami and Beat Buffet. Photographs were shot by Santiago Pérez, known as the king of Instagram because of his over 150 thousand followers.The contest to crown the queen of spring will live online for 6 weeks.
