War of Titans Titan Channel

The distribution promotion in Latin America of Titan Channel, SVOD platform, and Titan Channel HD, a linear channel, devoted to contact sports, is being carried out by Mariano Aragón, commercial director, who joined about four months ago, and a group of representatives in the region made up of Gustavo Ale (Argentina and Uruguay), Hortensia Espitaletta (Colombia and Central America), Karina Montoya (Mexico) and Katya Sagastizabal (Peru, Ecuador, Chile, Bolivia, and Paraguay).

This multiplatform offer has as its main original content, the War of Titans event, whose second edition was introduced on March 12. Aragón explains that the 80% of the content, comes from franchise rights and the great original product is War of titans, a three-hour contact sports event (more than eight combats divided into three different modalities: Muay Thai, Lethwei, and MMA), which took place at the Madrid Arena, Spain.

In addition to distributing the content of War of Titans in the region, the company’s intention in the future is to hold local events in different Latin American countries. “It is a multiplatform offer made up of the linear channel, the SVOD, and a bookstore with contact sports and own productions,” he said.

Titan was first born as an SVOD platform four years ago and two years later, the linear channel was launched. Titan Channel HD is already being distributed in Argentina, Chile, Peru, Ecuador, and Central America, with the exception of Mexico. It’s on the Millicom-Tigo platform. “Our business structure is very new and we have high hopes of kick-starting its distribution,” he said.

Titan Channel’s programming features franchises such as Global Combat, Brave MMA, One Championship, Gromda, M1-Global, Enfusion, Karate combat, and World Lethwei Championship (WLC).
