Univision will be part of DIRECTV’s programming in Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, and Uruguay

DIRECTV announced that beginning on May 3, Univision will be part of its programming grid on channel 760, for prepaid and postpaid customers in Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, and Uruguay. With this agreement, Televisa continues to increase the distribution and reach of Univision in the region, reaching more households in Latin America every day.
“We are very happy to incorporate Univision into our programming grid, thus consolidating our content offering to continue providing the best entertainment and information experience to our subscribers in the region,” commented Juan González del Solar, Director of Programming and Content, DIRECTV Latin America.
Fernando Muñiz, CEO of Televisa Networks and Televisa Internacional, commented: “Through the Univision network, millions of people in Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, and Uruguay will be able to access first-rate content, in an authorized signal, throughout the region.
