Sila, Cautiva por Amor (79x60’) debuts this Monday August 15th at 7pm

WAPA América has secured the exclusive U.S. premiere of Sila, Cautiva por Amor (79×60’) produced by Ay Yapim and distributed ATV Distribution. The Turkish novela that has mesmerized audiences across the globe will premiere on WAPA América exclusively in the U.S. on Monday, August 15, at 7pm ET/4pm PT. Sila, Cautiva por Amor is the tale of a woman sold to a wealthy family in Istanbul as a child. Years later, her biological father and brother, whom she believed to be dead, come to take her away, claiming she must meet her ailing mother. Instead she is brought back to southeast Turkey to marry Boran, the boss of a Mardin tribe, to repay her brother’s debt. This fascinating Turkish drama—filled with love, betrayal, and twists—has captivated audiences worldwide. In Peru, Sila was the #1 Turkish novela with an average audience share of 21.7%, beating many of the Latin novelas. It was also the most watched novela with an 16.1 household rating during its premiere in Puerto Rico. “The popularity of Turkish telenovelas is spreading all over the world, especially among Latino audiences.
