Carlos Mesber of We Love Entertainment and Rosalind Rotundo of VIP 2000 TV signed an agreement for a package of films for the FAST channel Fama Plus
We Love Entertainment has closed an important deal with VIP 2000 for a package of fiction programming hours for the FAST channel Fama Plus.
“This works very well for us because we are a channel focused entirely on celebrities, and we are creating nine new, original programs exclusively for Fama Plus. Now we’re adding the fiction component through VIP 2000 TV,” Carlos Mesber, CEO of We Love Entertainment, told PRODU during NATPE Global 2026.
He explained that the agreement was the result of conversations over several months and was finalized at NATPE. “They will confirm the exact number of hours, but it’s almost an output deal for all of VIP 2000 TV’s content. There are several programs, and in general we will air them on weekends, which is perfect for us because we have celebrity-driven entertainment from Monday to Friday, and on Saturdays and Sundays these fiction hours from them — also featuring very well-known talent — fit us very well,” he said.
For Mesber, even though NATPE has been a slower market, positive things have happened. “There have been meetings — not a huge number — but they are things we didn’t have before. We’ve opened some different doors that we really didn’t have, and that’s something we like,” he noted.
He said that the priority at this market is their FAST channel, Fama Plus. “We’ve met many people interested in the channel, and we’re also opening up to exploring opportunities in the U.S. market, which is why we’re starting to produce in English. There are many types of business opportunities for our FAST channel that we hadn’t discovered before, which work in a different way. It’s not the typical business model one is used to. It hasn’t been stressful, but it has been interesting. That’s the best way I can describe it,” he concluded.
