Secuoya Studios and William Levy Renew Collaboration Agreement for More TV and Film Projects

Secuoya Studios and William Levy have renewed their collaboration agreement to jointly develop new television and film projects for the global market. The partnership continues a successful professional relationship backed by the international performance of productions such as Montecristo, Camino a Arcadia and Bajo un Volcán, which have brought the studio’s content to more than 70 countries.

The agreement includes the development of a new television series and a feature film, with the Cuban-American star serving both in front of and behind the camera as executive producer on both projects.

The new series will be a six-episode thriller created by Carlos Portela and Roberto Serrano, blending action, suspense and emotional drama around a story driven by the complex relationships among its characters.

The feature film, meanwhile, will venture into the romantic comedy genre, allowing William Levy to return to one of the most recognizable facets of his career. The film will see him reprise the leading-man role that won over millions of viewers and established him as an international star through hits such as Café con Aroma de Mujer.

Montecristo marked a milestone in the partnership by achieving broad international distribution through platforms and broadcasters including Movistar Plus+ in Spain and Andorra, ViX in the U.S. and Latin America, Globo in Brazil, Imagine Media in Israel, ProTV in Romania and Moldova, TV2 Media Group in Hungary, BTV Media Group in Bulgaria, as well as through multiple licensing agreements across Eastern Europe, Russia and the Commonwealth of Independent States.

Camino a Arcadia further expanded that global reach with its premiere on SkyShowtime, where it ranked among the platform’s most-watched series across more than 20 European territories. The series also expanded into the U.S., Latin America and Israel, confirming its strong reception beyond Europe.

Bajo un Volcán premiered in Spain on Netflix, where it reached the platform’s top-ranked films before being distributed across several international markets.

Before the end of the year, the partnership will reach another milestone with the release of Bajo un Fuego, their new feature film starring William Levy, who also serves as executive producer.

Together, these productions have reached audiences in more than 70 countries, reinforcing a high-value creative partnership for the Spanish content studio and underscoring the international appeal of Levy’s projects.
