The General Director and Founder of Seenapse, Rafael Jiménez, shared the origin of this global inspiration engine that offers non-linear and divergent information. It’s headquartered in Mexico has more than 7.000 free associations and more than 100 registered countries. “The idea appeared through observation, after participating in thousands of brainstorming sessions, and not being able to use it in a truly productive way” he said. Seenapse is a platform where people can share mental associations. Its use is free and open to the whole world.”They are launching Seenapse Detonate, that operates like a workshop for creative teams who want to generate an idea. It search for some things on Seenapse that could serve as an initial thought detonators. They choose eight or ten mental associations from the ones available on the platform, that resonate with the team. When the sessions ends, they pass these associations on to users of Seenapse in different parts of the world for them to generate new ones. They compile everything in a presentation and the following day present the result.Havas, Montalvo KD and Twitter are some of the companies that have already worked with the Seenapse Detonate method which costs US$500. “The people who are using this methodology to generate ideas have told me that it saves them between three and five days of bouncing ideas back and forth. Sometimes, this is 50% of the time available to answer a pitch or a client’s request.”
