Flores: En FIAP nos vamos a encontrar con un extraordinario trabajo
Virgilio Flores, ALMA Creative Director, will be a jury member of FIAP 2017. Years ago, he had the experience of judging online, but now he would have the honor to be present “this is a unique experience, since FIAP is a reference for all of us in the region and with the new changes it brings, the festival will get bigger” he explained.Flores shared that he is very excited for being accompanied by great professionals as jurors. “It is a marvelous honor for me and I hope to be able to add to the discussions, where creativity, freshness, and relevance is showcased at the final reel. We will surely find amazing work, since the region is going through one of its best creative moments.” His advice for FIAP participants is that they must not stop innovating and taking risks with ideas and how they are produced. “We are at a great moment to do this and the goal shouldn’t be an award but to seek for the best possible idea” he added. According to the creative, festivals are a reflection of countries’ creative moments. They are useful for challenging oneself. “Beyond the award itself, they are a meeting point for the industry, where the word reinvention must always be present, that is why all these changes at FIAP are taking the appropriate steps” he said. “We are in a very interesting stage for creativity and must use each space we can to surprise with innovative ideas.”
