Michael Finn appointed SVP of Sales & Marketing El Rey Network

Finn will lead the sales team dedicated to connecting advertisers and their agencies with the new cable network

Michael Finn has been appointed senior vice president of Sales & Marketing, El Rey Network. Reporting to Univision Communications executive vice president of Advertising Sales Steve Mandala, Finn will be based in the Company’s New York office beginning September 3, 2013.Univision Communications announced a strategic investment in El Rey Network during its May upfront presentation, forming a partnership through which Univision is responsible for the back office operations, sales and distribution of the network. In this newly-created role, Finn will lead the sales team dedicated to connecting advertisers and their agencies with the new general entertainment, English-language cable network created by renowned American filmmaker Robert Rodriguez and FactoryMade Ventures. The network is scheduled to launch in December 2013 on Comcast.“Michael brings a great energy and a proven record of effectively building teams to deliver results for marketers. He is a major addition to our Company, and his appointment marks the first major step in building a team that will communicate the value of El Rey to advertisers looking to reach a young adult audience hungry for the cutting-edge programming for which Robert Rodríguez is known,” said Mandala. “We are pleased to welcome Michael to the El Rey team.
