Cisneros Interactive: There is a strong trend in digital that represents great business opportunities

“There is a strong trend towards digital, not just in media consumption, but in digital buys. This trend will grow and represents great business opportunities,” Víctor Kong, president of Cisneros Interactive, told PRODU.Kong explained that the creation of Cisneros Interactive is the consolidation of several companies in two areas: digital advertising (Adsmovil and RedMas), and e-commerce where they have invested in Cuponidad and Mobliq. “We’re optimistic because the trend is strong all around the world. Because Latin America is lagging behind a bit, it represents a larger growth potential in the future because it has to catch up,” he added.When asked about the U.S. Hispanic market, Kong said it was underserved, but the market offered many business opportunities.“The Hispanic market, incredibly, is much more involved with digital media than the general market. New players are entering, but the Cisneros group has a very long track record in this market having founded Univisión. It’s a market they know well; it’s different than Latin America and that knowledge gives us a competitive advantage,” added Kong.
