NATPE|Content First announces robust lineup of speakers in Storytellers and the Shaping of Pop Culture track

NATPE|Content First president and CEO Rod Perth announced an exclusive speaker lineup of intimate conversations with stars, showrunnners, multimedia icons and executives. Each will be showcased during the Storytellers and the Shaping of Pop Culture conference track taking place during NATPE||Miami on Wednesday, January 21, 2015 at the Fontainebleau Resort in Miami Beach. “Our goal is to capture the exciting realities that are at the intersection of entertainment, culture, and the explosion of new platforms,” said Perth. “With these guests, who are all hit makers and change agents in unique ways, we can’t miss – and neither should anyone who is with us in Miami.” The sessions will include 2015 Legacy Honoree Jay Leno trading incredible stories with Craig Ferguson, recent host of The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson. Dan Harmon, Emmy-winning creator/executive producer of the comedy series Community will have a dedicated session, as will Academy Award nominee, documentarian and writer Morgan Spurlock. 2015 Legacy Honoree Jonathan Murray, Chairman, Bunim/Murray Productions, who is responsible for the 1992 launch of MTV’s The Real World, and widely credited with inventing the modern reality television genre, will chat on-stage with Cris Abrego, Co-Chairman and Co-CEO of Endemol North America, who is recognized as one of the leading creators and producers of reality television in the U.S. Ted Sarandos, Chief Content Officer of Netflix and also a 2015 Legacy Honoree, will be joined by Emmy Award-winning writer and producer Mitchell Hurwitz; as well as Vince Gilligan, creator and producer of AMC’s hit series, Breaking Bad, for a conversation that will be informing, entertaining and very inside.
