Condista launched the CanalesHD package to the market with over 30 signals in Spanish in high definition for every taste, covering entertainment, lifestyle, movies, children, educational, music and concerts, series and novelas, news and information, and sports genres.

“We are always developing interesting offers for our clients and CanalesHD was something we started to work on at the beginning of 2020. It is a very complete package, and it is well-thought as a competitive offer. Additionally, all the channels are offered in an HD format,” expressed Jorge E. Fiterre, founder and president of Condista.

CanalesHD offers channels that are represented by Condista and other signals that offer popular genres and have vast market distribution have also been invited.

Fiterre explains that CanalesHD can be offered as stand-alone by the operator or include other channels in the package. “It is more than a package since Condista offers its experience and tools to better promote and serve its clients,” adds Fiterre.

The executive highlights the importance of the fact that all the signals are in HD. “Unfortunately, many of the large operators in the US continue offering the channels in Spanish in SD, whereas practically all the channels in English are in HD. As we know, once we get used to watching content in HD, it is difficult to watch content in SD. We hope this leads big companies to start offering the channels in Spanish in HD,” he explained.

“In the last few years, we have seen the evolution of our industry. It has been a transformation process, from being a service that offers programming to complete media companies with a variety of services (security systems, intelligent products for the home), as well as other options such as VOD (Netflix, for example). The world of telecommunication operators is complex because now they not only offer video but have to seek other attractive and alternative options,” he added.
