In times when audiences move from one medium to another or are even using several media at the same time, content producers face new challenges.

Cynthia Hudson, SVP and managing director of CNN en Español and Hispanic Strategy for CNN/U.S. mentioned that one of the keys to adapt to the new landscape is for users to trust certain brands because it offers them content curation they are interested in. The trilogy brand, distribution method, and target will become the protagonists.

“Each genre is going to need a different distribution and to think about different models. The same model cannot be applied to all sectors. The news model will be: immediate alerts, live events, and the analysis and contextualization of news for the audience,” said the executive.

The breaking news will continue to be important, but it will be received on the telephone. The idea is that the user wants to continue with the brand to have access to the contextualization of the news, to know the stars and antagonists of the events. “I think that to a certain extent, it is the telenovela of the news,” ended Hudson.
