Billboard opens entries for annual Latin Music Marketing Awards

Billboard ha announced that it is now accepting entries for the 3rd annual Latin Music Marketing Awards, to be presented by Telemundo and mun2. The event will held during the Billboard Latin Music Conference & Awards presented by State Farm between April 23-25 at the JW Marriott Marquis in Miami.The prizes recognize the integration of marketing and Latin music by honoring agencies and record labels that have mounted successful campaigns over the past year.Advertising agencies and record labels can enter their campaigns before Friday, March 9, 2013, free of charge, by simply filling out the form on the event’s website: https://billboard.wufoo.com/forms/2013-billboard-latin-music-marketing-awards/.Entries will be evaluated for innovation, creativity and content by a panel of experts from the music industry. Finalists will be announced on April 6, while the winners will be revealed at the Billboard Latin Music Marketing Awards reception.“The marketing awards were launched three years ago in response to the increasing importance of brands as partners in Latin music tours, videos and even albums. They are the only awards in the marketplace that honor music and artist-driven campaigns in the Latin market,” said Leila Cobo, Billboard’s executive director for Latin content and programming.The categories include Best Campaign of the Year, Best Online or Social Campaign, Best TV Campaign and Best Tour Sponsorship Campaign.
