Casanova and Ivonne Galaz Raise Awareness for Homeless LGBTQ+ Youth with “Nadie Sabe”

9 de enero de 2026

Up to 40% of homeless youth identify as LGBTQ+, and of that group, approximately 17% are Latino

Over the past few decades, young people have been coming out as LGBTQ+ to their families at increasingly younger ages, which can put them in the precarious position of potentially being rejected while still minors and dependent on their parents for shelter and support. If they are rejected, they are often left with nowhere to go and end up on the streets, which can be extremely dangerous.

Up to 40% of homeless youth identify as LGBTQ+, and of that group, approximately 17% are Latino.

In response to this situation, Casanova decided to raise awareness about the issue through music with the project “Corridos Rescue Corridos.” Under this project, they produced the song and music video “Nadie Sabe” with corrido singer Ivonne Galaz, speaking directly to the Latino community in the U.S. This collaboration is notable not only because it features a female singer performing in a genre traditionally dominated by men and often containing machismo lyrics, but also because it addresses a socially important topic.

“We are a Latino team that has lived in various cities across the United States for years. For us, it was impossible to ignore this issue, which is visible every day in this country,” said Elias Weinstock, EVP Chief Creative Officer.

The proceeds from the song, generated through streams and views on Spotify and other platforms, will be directed to organizations that support homeless LGBTQ+ communities. For this project, Casanova is collaborating with TransLatina and the LGBTQ Center Orange County.

The music production was done in partnership with Universal Music and The Luna Music. “We always look to give back to the community. It’s a thread of sensitivity that runs through the agency,” said Christian Mondragón, Senior Creative at Casanova. He added that the goal is to continue promoting activations to support this project and increase fundraising for homeless LGBTQ+ individuals.

“Nadie Sabe” was named an official selection at the Independent Short Awards and is nominated in four categories at the California Music Video & Film Awards.
