Numatec and Unidad Editorial have announced the signing of an agreement under which Numatec becomes the exclusive representative for advertising sales of Unidad Editorial’s digital titles in Latin America. The partnership includes the Group’s websites, mobile versions, and apps, offering agencies and advertisers centralized access to premium inventory across display, video, sponsorships, and branded content solutions, with regional reach in high-quality environments.
The agreement includes MARCA and the digital properties of EL MUNDO, EXPANSIÓN, and TELVA, consolidating a compelling mix of audiences and editorial contexts spanning sports, news, business, and lifestyle. MARCA, a leading sports media brand, has a massive and highly engaged audience in the region, with more than 28 million monthly unique users, according to comScore data from January 2026.
Ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup, MARCA will offer comprehensive editorial coverage, supported by tailored commercial opportunities for agencies and advertisers. These include countdown sponsorships, power rankings sponsorships, and prominent placements within scoreboards, standings, and calendars, as well as integrations within news content and exclusive real-time coverage, all designed to maximize campaign relevance, affinity, and performance.
“Latin America is a strategic region for the growth of our brands and content, and this agreement allows us to strengthen our commercial offering and scale high-value advertising solutions for our clients,” said Laura Múgica, Board Member and CEO of Unidad Editorial.
Giuliano Stiglitz, CEO of Numatec, added: “Unidad Editorial brings together some of the most influential editorial properties in the Spanish-speaking world. This agreement reinforces our mission to connect our clients with real audiences in relevant contexts through measurable and optimizable solutions. A World Cup year also presents a unique opportunity to innovate with top-tier advertising experiences.”
The partnership will be commercially led by Arturo Givaudan at Numatec, who brings two decades of experience in monetizing sports properties and developing brand solutions. With a background at Futbol Sites and Grupo Expansión, Givaudan has worked closely with agencies and advertisers to design high-impact strategies tied to major sporting events. His leadership will help turn the 2026 World Cup coverage into measurable opportunities for brands.
