Enchufe.tv reaches US Hispanic audience through TelevisaUnivision’s ViX

For a decade, Enchufe.tv has produced the best comic sketches in Ecuador with a particular sense of Latin American humor, highlighting that idiosyncrasy that makes us unique. Because of this peculiarity, the Ecuadorian sketch channel has earned millions of followers over the years and in many countries around the world.
After the merger between Televisa and Univision in January of 2022 and the creation of the ViX platform, hundreds of Spanish-language content have crossed the borders of Latin America and reached the United States. Part of that schedule includes several seasons of Enchufe.tv.
Enchufe.tv is a web series that was born in 2011 after questioning the change to the audiovisual production of Ecuadorian television. It is produced by the Ecuadorian producer 2bLatam (Touché Films) and has a YouTube channel as its main platform.
The platform reaches a community of 88 million on Facebook, Instagram, Youtube, and Twitter, and is positioned as one of the platforms with the highest consumption of videos in Spanish and Portuguese in the world.
