The format Sres. Papis by Telefe was sold to the new open channel Imagen Televisión for its adaptation and broadcast in Mexico. It is the channel´s first own production.

“On Imagen Televisión we are thrilled to produce this fun romantic comedy. We are about to start shooting with state-of-the-art technology and thus contribute to our rhythm of growth in high-quality original productions made in Mexico. This series is an interesting alternative for the Mexican audience that each night will be able to enjoy as a family” expressed Aurelio Valcárcel, Fiction Production director of the channel.

“After the success of the adaptation of the format in Chile, we are truly enthusiastic with the next Mexican version of Sres. Papis. Negotiations with Imagen took several months, during which we worked at the same time on the content and we are convinced that we will have an excellent Mexican product. We are thrilled with the project and very proud to accompany Imagen on we of their first fiction productions, that we will also distribute from Telefe across the world,” highlighted Guillermo Borensztein, International Business manager at Telefe.

Sres. Papis tells the story of three fathers who meet every day at the entrance of their children’s day care center and who talk about topics such as friendship, father-child relationship, love conflicts and change of social roles.
