Joyce Giraud, actress and producer from Puerto Rico, but living in Los Angeles for more than 15 years, is responsible for the production of Rica, Famosa, Latina, one of the most successful shows of the Hispanic network Estrella TV.”It has been an absolute success. It was a project that required lots of our time, many sacrifices, it is a new format that hadn’t been done in the Latin market” said Giraud to PRODU about this reality series that some days wins in the 18-49 segment in the Los Angeles market.”We are basically a real life novela. I took part in the Anglo reality series Real Housewives of Beverly Hills and the idea occurred to me that we could have something similar for the Latin market, that would ennoble Latin women, a product made by us for our people, very well made, high quality and it has been a success and ratings confirm this”.”Who doesn’t want to see five fabulous, beautiful, Latin women in their daily lives, know what made them famous, see their families, their ups and downs, see everything Latin women have to go through…?” she highlighted.Giraud has carried out numerous projects, all in the Anglo market, this one being the first for the Latin market. She stated that they are already in the second season of the show and that they are developing two other projects, also for the Hispanic market.
