Viacom inaugurated its new global headquarters in Miami

Viacom International Media Networks (VIMN) The Americas announced that it officially opened the doors of its new global offices in downtown Miami, that will serve as operations headquarters of the company´s entire entertainment brands portfolio.

“After 25 years in Miami, we are duplicating our investment in the area to build the new world headquarters of VIMN Americas. In this constantly changing environment, we have evolved our business by becoming global content providers and we are focused on investing in new headquarters that reflect the entire creative power of our teams,” expressed in a statement Pierluigi Gazzolo, president of Viacom International Media Networks Americas.

The new headquarters has a surface of approximately 2,300m² in downtown Miami, a strategic transportation point of the city, also very close to the Viacom International Studios facilities.

“We are thrilled to evolve our current headquarters and add another footprint here in Miami that complements our Viacom International Studios. The space is a manifestation of Viacom’s ‘Culture of Proximity’ concept to enhance the employee experience and create different communities or ‘close cultures’ connected by social interaction areas,” expressed Juan Acosta, EVP and Chief Operating Officer of VIMN Americas.

Miami’s diverse intellectual talent pool, combined with our proximity to Latin America, makes us the ideal location for this international media company, whose presence will help stimulate our economy and create career opportunities for our residents,” said Francis Suárez, City of Miami Mayor.

Through a partnership with CallisonRTKL Architecture and Amy Ayoub, Design Director with Viacom’s Planning and Design Studio, the Miami space combines both hospitality and workplace design aimed at providing an arrival experience for employees, visiting staff and guests with multi-functional spaces to work, create, connect and relax, bringing Viacom the brand to life.
