Jean Sharony, productor ejecutivo de Whiskey Films
Executive producer Jean Sharony spoke with PRODU about the performance of Whiskey Films in 2014. This year, the production grew as a company after opening two new offices. They strengthened their relationship with the agencies, and took every 365 days to approach their old and new customers.”We ended the year with a glance at the road traveled during these five years and renewed business ideas for the year that already started,” Sharony said.Among the important news and developments we can find: The project El pez león produced by Whiskey Colombia for Geometry, Global and Ogilvy, material that was awarded at festivals like Cannes, Clio, London Festival and El Dorado. They opened offices in Chile and Ecuador; and to top it off, were proclaimed in Venezuela, as Producer of the Year 2014 by the National Association of Advertisers (ANDA Awards). In addition to this, they began working in other artistic fields with the staging of the gastronomic show Saboridades. “In conclusion, we started into non-traditional formats of communication and will continue to grow in that direction,” the spokesman said.According to Sharony, the biggest challenge faced in 2014 was in Venezuela. “It’s a market that has contributed much to the mixture of Whiskey but is facing a very complex situation. However, we could achieve our goals.”By 2015, they hope to impulse growth in Chile and Ecuador. Also give special attention to markets such as Mexico and Venezuela. “In any case, we intend to continue providing the creativity to all the countries where Whiskey Films has branches,” he stated.
