McCann Worldgroup announced on Monday that Casanova Pendrill was being rebranded as Casanova//McCann. “The rebranding is more than a logo change. It is a recognition of the agency’s enormous success in designing creative and effective Hispanic and multicultural communications for its clients and enables the agency to align more closely with McCann Worldgroup in order to tap in directly to McCann Worldgroup’s capabilities and resources” said Luca Lindner, President of McCann Worldgroup. Ingrid Otero-Smart, CEO at Casanova said: “The change respects the brand recognition of the Casanova name and the agency’s strong culture while allowing Casanova direct and immediate access to McCann Worldgroup. This closer collaboration represents substantial opportunities for our clients and ourselves.” Over the past several years, as multicultural Americans are both mirroring and helping to drive mainstream American culture, many of the McCann Worldgroup’s clients, increasingly are turning to Casanova to deliver multi-platform communications and audiences. Under the leadership of Otero-Smart and CCO, Elias Weinstock the agency’s robust client portfolio spans shared McCann Worldgroup clients as well as clients managed independently.
