Facebook takes its video ads to other platforms

Facebook is determined to generate more profitability through the sales of advertising for mobile devices. This time, by implementing autoplay video ads in mobile applications in platforms other than the social network. Through Facebook´s mobile advertising network, Audience Network, which until now only commercialized graphic and text ads, advertisers can now show their videos and determine who will see them in various applications according to their interests, age and location. Facebook makes available to brands the enormous database they have so they can show their video contents thought for mobile, where and however they want to. Facebook also announced that other formats they have, such as the slideshow-like carousel ads and full screen-screen click-to-play video spots will also be exported to its mobile advertising network.The dynamic ads are receiving an additional boost, because brands will be able to follow up on the people who show interest in their products on Facebook even when they are not on the social network.
