Ford se asocia a un target juvenil y femenino

The bilingual blog Los Tweens & Teens has associated with Ford Motor Company to create a series that can help parents instill in their daughters a love of science, technology, engineering and math, or STEM.The section Celebrate Education/Educacion (#CelebrateEdu) helps mom and pop encourage educational and extracurricular achievement in their girls. The Girl Scout Research Institute said that 81 percent of young girls think careers based on science, technology, engineering and mathematics would be interesting – but would not necessarily be their first choice. Encouragement needed!“As Girl Scout Troop Leaders we know the importance of motivating girls early on. We were very excited when Ford supported our goal of encouraging and inspiring parents to develop their child’s interests in STEM” said Cristy Clavijo-Kish and Katherine Doble-Cannata, publishers of Los Tweens & Teens.Celebrate Education/Educacion interested Ford at first glance because the automaker employs many women in the areas of research, design and marketing. Ford’s Multicultural Communications Manager Alvaro Cabal said that “education is key to the success of our Hispanic community…parents who inspire, share advice and provide positive role models to our youth offer perfect encouragement for educational and extracurricular achievements”.The series has already been on the air on the website Los Tweens & Teens, where schoolgirls can post their own experiences, comments and content.
