After 10 years as a commercial director, Daniel Azancot has consolidated his career which has allowed him to work in the European, Latin American and in the USA markets.Today, he talks to PRODU to publicize his work and impressions about the 2014 Cannes Lions Festival. He started his professional career in photography, which allowed him to have a very accurate vision as to the aesthetics of the image, and therefore the film world. Currently, he keeps this vision: “For example, the last film we shot with State Farm in Barcelona with In & Out is a movie filmed in slow motion, very focused on what is aesthetic, and especially in what is to improve the concept,” Azancot said.He also adds that he is interested in storytelling films, he has directed actors for a long time, and a few plays. “I have a feature film in hand, this allows me to offer a variety of styles that can range from something very artistic to storytelling or humor. That’s it all about.”Concerning the 2014 Cannes Lions Festival, it is an event that has allowed him to meet many people from around the world. “In fact, at any given moment you realize that you have previously had contact with these people, but now you put them a face and then it is much easier to work, connect, or even discard,” Azancot concluded.
