Jamie Gutfreund es la nueva CMO Global

Wunderman brought on board Jamie Gutfreund as its new chief marketing officer (CMO), giving her the mission of making more visible the agency presence in the advertising world. “I see the 175 offices around the world as my clients” Gutfreund said. “My job is to help weave the story together on a global level and also on a local level.” Gutfreund joins Wunderman after serving a year as CMO of Deep Focus. Previously, she spent over four years with strategic consulting firm The Intelligence Group as CSO. She has also served as director, Business Development for companies including Expedia, Prodigy Communications and Microsoft, where she spent five years, beginning in 1996. “If you look back 10 years, Wunderman’s gone through the transition from being a direct marketing agency to a digital agency” said CEO Mark Read. “If you go for another 10 years, it’s really more of the same but more emphasis on the work, and more emphasis on creativity. I think we’re very well known for being global. But we could be better known for our work.” “What we’re going to be looking for are ways not just to sell” added Gutfreund “but to also educate and inspire”.
