New York Festivals adds 15 industry professionals to its Executive Jury

The New York Festivals World’s Best Advertising competition has named five prominent international creative directors and executives to its 2014 Executive Jury.This “dream team” of 30 elite industry leaders will meet in New York from April 25-29 in order to pick the winners of the World’s Best Advertising in all media, and will include a new category that honors the World’s Best Idea.The newly named members of the Executive Jury are Brendan DiBona of AKQA, USA; Armin Jochum of Thjnk, Germany; Bridget Jung of DigitasLBi, France; Gaston Legorburu of SapientNitro, USA; and Jimmy Smith of Amusement Park Entertainment, USA.“New York Festivals is incredibly honored and proud to assemble an Executive Jury of this stature, each and every member of the 2014 Executive Jury is respected globally for their expertise in the industry as well as their creative accomplishments,” said Michel O’Rourke, president of New York Festivals. The team will be moderated by Rance Crain, president of Crain Communications and editor of Ad Age.For its part, the 2014 New York Show will take place on May 1 at the New York Public Library and will feature creative debates, conferences, networking events, the awards ceremony, and later, a gala to honor the award winners.
