Oreo and Paramount Pictures announced an Alliance in more than 35 countries to launch the new movie Transformers: the extinction era, directed by Michael Bay.The agreement will join two iconic brands and it will include a spot for cinema and television directed by Bay, as well as packages and special edition cookies, activations and digital communications in social media networks on behalf of both companies.With approximately 90 million Oreo cookies that are sold in more than 100 countries daily, the Mondelēz Internationals cookie has become the most sold one in the XXI century. Additionally, brands communication has been marked by its innovation, as it did in the last Super Bowl when it had more than seven million retweets with only one post published in the social network.On his behalf, the film director directed personally this Oreos new campaign that will take the famous cookie to the Transformers world. The spot shows how a cookie supports the giant Transformers robot in its fight for good and bad, and it will be on air in more than 15 markets around the world, including Mexico.The Transformers franchise was in the cinemas in 2007 for the first time. The next movie of the saga will be premiered on June, 27th, in the United States.
