Too small to fail partners with Univision to launch Pequeños y valiosos program

Early this month, Hillary Clinton and Randy Falco launched a partnership of Univision and Too small to fail, a joint project of Next Generation and the Bill, Hillary & Chelsea Clinton Foundation. Based on Univision’s award-winning project of helping parents and companies take measures to improve the health and well-being of children up to 5 years old, the partnership, dubbed Pequeños y valiosos (Small and valuable), will provide research, commentaries and information across all Univision platforms. It will also prompt Hispanic parents and other people looking after kids to speak, read and sing to the little ones in order to help them develop their speech and vocabulary skills.“As our education initiative marks its fourth year, the partnership with Next Generation, the Clinton Foundation, and many other education organizations, will help us amplify our commitment by delivering the best information possible about early childhood development to the Hispanic community,” said Randy Falco, president and CEO of Univision Communications.Patti Miller, director of Too small to fail for the Clinton Foundation, said that “Hispanics represent the fastest growing population in the United States, and the decisions parents and caregivers make today will influence their children’s futures and the future of our country for years to come”.The partners have also launched a new section on the {Univision;www.univision.com/educacion} website that offers factsheets, advice and special content for Spanish-speaking parents.
