Tano Celentano: La sonrisa de mi hijo es mi éxito
Marcos Javier Celentano, who graduated as an art director from the Higher School of Advertising Creatives in Buenos Aires and who also studied art history, film editing, dramatic structure and the direction of actors, takes his place this year on the roster of the Miami Film Roll.As a kid he dreamed of being a parachutist, with the hope of completing a daring mission and being hailed as a hero. I was crazy about war pictures, then later I realized I wanted to be a samurai because it was so honorable and romantic. Well, I ended up as an advertising creative which isnt the same but Ive had to fight my share of battles, Celentano said.Something this director has pending is making a biopic of his own life. Celentano said that I film stories about others that are pretty well done, at least I cant ask for more. From a creatives point of view he told PRODU that I aim to capture life as it really is, so people feel that what theyre seeing could really be happening because its so lifelike, I dont care if its a period piece or a comedy.Over a 10-year career he has won prizes at Cannes Lions, the Clios, London International Awards, FIAP, Ojo de Iberoamerica, San Sebastian Advertising Festival, the Argentine Creative Circle and more. In 2006 he began working for the Latin American and U.S. Hispanic markets, and since 2009 has made commercials in Spain, Eastern Europe, Mexico, Peru and Colombia. His favorite creation is the Zoo commercial for Cartoon Network a super-lighthearted idea. The creatives gave me total freedom and we were all on the same page, he said.Production company: Miami Film Roll, USAContact: {Marcos Javier Celentano;iltano73@gmail.com}T +1 305- 892-7152 / +54 -911- 4047- 6570{Watch video;www.produ.tv/popup.html?noti=7297}
