Su Nombre Era Dolores, La Jenn Que Yo Conocí, was launched on Monday May 8 at 8:30pm on Azteca 13, produced by BTF Media, TuYo TV, Dhana Media and LatinWE, shot in Mexico and Los Angeles. The star, Luz Ramos, assured that this character is a big challenge for her, both personally and professionally.

“Jenny Rivera comes to me after Meche in the series Hasta Que Te Conocí and this represents the opportunity of my life. I started singing and English lessons, gained weight –that on the outside- and inside I started to wonder why they had chosen me, what they had seen in me to play this role, so I could identify that and contribute it to the character. I had never been so afraid to play a role,” commented the actress.

Ramos stated she felt satisfied with the results they have obtained. “I don’t know if it is pleasant for others, but I gave it my best. With Jenny Rivera, I planted the seed that dreams can come true.”

Su Nombre Era Dolores, La Jenn Que Yo Conocí was developed from Pete Salgado’s point of view. He was the singer’s ex-manager and friend, who supported her until she triumphed. In 26 episodes, the artist’s secrets as a woman, mother, businesswoman, and diva will be unveiled, including moments never-seen before, told by those who knew her, reviving her loves, suffering and success until her tragic departure.
