Azteca: kicking off original productions for our pay-TV channel AZMundo with the late show of Raquel Bigorra

Raquel Bigorra hosts El Show De Raquel, the first late show originally produced for AZMundo. The show premiered on October 18th and airs at 8pm in Mexico, 7pm in Central America, and 10pm in South America.The two-hour show premiered in the weekend primetime of the channel, which recently re-launched with a new brand, look and content. “For the first time we’re producing exclusive programming for our pay-TV channels, which represents an important opportunity to diversify content, feature other talent and address again our Latin American viewers,” said Roberto Romagnoli, Entertainment Director of Azteca.AZMundo is the new brand of Azteca Internacional. Recently introduced to the pay-TV markets, the channel is present in 17 countries and is part of the new portfolio of pay-TV channels along with Corazón and AZClic! “This premiere is the first of many will be making in the coming months. There will be a lot of surprises on all the channels,” said Fidela Navarro, Director of AZTVdePaga.El Show De Raquel will feature in-depth interviews with celebrities and, according to Raquel Bigorra, “the goal is for our audience to learn much more about celebrities and their environments. We will have fun on the show but on occasion we’ll also cry depending on where the conversation takes us.”
