BBC Worldwide Latin America and U.S. Hispanic plans to expand distribution of its channel for preschoolers in the U.S. Hispanic market in early 2011.Jessica Rodríguez, Senior VP and General Manager of BBC Worldwide Latin America and U.S. Hispanic, said to PRODU: The Hispanic market has always been crucial for BBC and from the beginning it was part of the channel launch plans in Latin America. BBC continues to acknowledge the importance of the U.S. Hispanic market. Next year we will see the results of the 2010 Census and we believe it will be an eye-opening moment for all platforms that operate in this market.Rodríguez said they are satisfied with the results obtained in the U.S. Hispanic market and with entering such a competitive market with CBeebies. We are pleased that the Hispanic market was a pioneer in the welcoming of this product. We are also pleased with Dish and the ratings it has gotten with its package.
