Braven Films: Good stories come from everywhere

The Spanish-Mexican producer Frida Torresblanco, CEO of Braven Films, explained from Ventana Sur that there is a great movement in Spain and Mexico for Latin American film production companies.

The executive, who lives in New York and has more than 20 years of experience, was chosen to open the talks of the meeting in Argentina.

In her opinion, good stories come from everywhere, “we have more than enough problems”. That is why she believes there are great possibilities for “making good stories with real, everyday stories from around the world; and a small story in a small town can be incredibly universal”.

She commented that she is particularly interested in Argentina and that “we are living in a global world”.

On the other hand, she mentioned that she imagines there will be a curatorship of platforms. “There could be a trend to gather content because there are too many options”, in which people only pay a central service without having to pay for each independent platform.
