Cinelatino will air the exclusive U.S. premiere of Cómo Cortar a Tu Patán, a witty Mexican box-office hit that grapples with crucial relationship questions, on Sunday, August 4, at 9pm.
The blockbuster romantic comedy had a stellar opening weekend that landed it in the number one spot at the Mexican box-office in 2017. The cast includes Mariana Treviño, Camila Sodi, Christopher Von Uckermann and Sebastián Zurita.
The film follows Amanda, a therapist specializing in helping women end destructive relationships, who is forced to take on the most important job of her career: ending her sister’s relationship when Amanda discovers she’s dating a womanizing jerk. What Amanda doesn’t realize is that in the process, she will end up conquering her own biggest fear: falling in love. The sixth feature directed by Gabriela Tagliavini, this hilariously relatable comedy provides some humorous – and applicable – insights on love and relationships.
