The movie Goal! The Dream Begins debuts on Sunday, June 26, at 9pm
Goal! The Dream Begins, the inspirational sports movie that kicked off a successful soccer trilogy in cinematic history, is set to debut on Cinelatino on Sunday, June 26, at 9pm.The film was made with the cooperation of FIFA, as well as some of Europes most important soccer teams, including Real Madrid, Manchester United, Milan, among others.Through a fictional storyline, viewers will get an intimate look at the personal lives of some of the worlds most renowned soccer stars, including David Beckham, Raul and Zinedine Zidane. In the heartwarming tale, Santiago Núñez, played by Kuno Becker, dreams of becoming a soccer star since the moment he immigrates to the United States with his family as a young boy. Santi posseses the talent and determination needed to be a star, but he must overcome various obstacles along the way in order to achieve his dream.The film was succeeded by two more films, Goal II: Living the Dream and Goal III: Taking on the World.
