Demian Torres-Bohl, president of Mexicanal
Mexicanal has been working on several projects in different stages of development, including the sports documentary series Escaramuza: La Competencia; Montas de Impacto Season 2 (featuring the best jaripeo rides); the magazine show Por Fin Mexicanal; Al Son Del Ritmo; Cocina En 20; the educational program Llamada Peluche; Las Hormonas; Season 2 of Mariachis de México; De Costa a Costa; and Pueblos de Michoacán.
“Our priority is to continue growing and developing more creative content, from idea conception to postproduction, both for Mexicanal and for other production houses that require it. Our content seeks the human side of the story and its creative development, as well as an effective audiovisual language to communicate the message,” said Demian Torres-Bohl, president of Mexicanal.

Asked about production trends, Torres-Bohl said they are “diverse, reflecting an audience that enjoys content related to music, traditions, and memories of their homeland: Mexico.”
He added that they strive to stay in step “with what is succeeding globally—real and fictional stories that speak to the essence and history of the human being. What connects us is the emotional and visceral side,” he concluded.
