Finale of Telemundo´s Betty in NY averaged over 1.7 million in Total Viewers

The finale of Telemundo’s hit original production Betty en NY, a modern adaptation of the television global phenomena Yo Soy Betty la Fea, ranked as the # 1 primetime drama series in America on Monday night among Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34, according to Nielsen.

In addition, it was the #1 Spanish-language program in primetime among Adults 18-49, Adults 18-34 and Total Viewers. Starring breakthrough actress Elyfer Torres, the finale of the family-friendly series averaged 808,000 Adults 18-49, 352,000 Adults 18-34, and over 1.7 million in Total Viewers, outperforming Univision’s Sin Miedo a la Verdad in all key demos.

The finale was also the #1 most social primetime drama series regardless of language, according to Nielsen Social. Additionally, Betty en NY was also the #1 program in primetime on finale night, regardless of language, in Los Angeles, New York, Miami and Dallas among Adults 18-49.

The first scripted production filmed at Telemundo Center, Betty en NY ranked as the #1 regularly-scheduled program at 9pm in Spanish-language broadcast television season-to-date averaging 675,000 Adults 18-49 and 283,000 Adults 18-34. According to Nielsen Social, Betty en NY was also the #2 most social Hispanic primetime entertainment series during its full run, only ranking behind the network’s own La Reina del Sur 2 and generated more than 3 billion engagements across all platforms including television, digital and social media.
