Frecuencia Latina International: U.S. general market a great opportunity

For Frecuencia Latina International, the English-language market has proven to be great business. Company CEO Miki Ivcher told PRODU they just optioned in the U.S. the Chilean series Bim Bam Bum, and said that Mi Problema Con Las Mujeres is already in pilot phase for ABC. Additionally, they sold Peru’s highest grossing film, Asu Mare, to the U.S.Ivcher also shared other news: “We just signed a deal with Endemol Latinoamérica to produce in Venezuela and have a project to build studios in Peru. This had been my dream for a long time and I’m very close to realizing it. We want the studios to be great, in full HD, to be able to attract foreign clients.”He also made reference to his new venture, Fly Content, sister company of Frecuencia Latina Internacional created to produce content. Both the studios and the Endemol project, as well as other projects in development will be channeled through Fly Content.
