Distribution and acquisitions in times of crisis generate different impacts on television: government channels stop purchases, their budgets, coming from the state, are redirected at areas in need due to the sanitary crisis.

Meanwhile, the channels that depend on advertising are still examining how this situation is going to affect their ad sales, deciding to postpone their purchases. Then there is another landscape in which channels and clients consider they cannot stop acquisition to captivate more audiences, in a moment when more people of different ages consume contents on different devices.

This information was provided to PRODU by a source who considers that the strategy that should be followed is to continue adding titles to their catalog and explore how to generate sales in this extremely unstable economy. However, they mention that remote sales does not pose a great difficulty. Independent companies that do not feel that attending all the markets is profitable are used to maintaining remote relations with clients.
