Imagen Televisión: La Taxista is one of the 12 original productions we will have in the upcoming months

Imagen Televisión launched last Monday at 7pm, its new original production La Taxista, starring Ana Belena and Marcus Ornerlas, a remake of the Chilean story Eres Mi Tesoro. It is one of the twelve original productions they will have to close the year and in 2019.

“We have a very big audience in Mexico and the Hispanic market, where the audience continues to like these traditional romantic stories. They are contents that travel in a simple way, but with constructive and aspirational messages. It is an adaptation in the form of a local touch. The adaptation took us more than a year,” commented Aurelio Valcárcel, Fiction and Entertainment director at Imagen Televisión.

The executive announced they are working on the production of new contents such as the bioseries on Alejandra Guzmán (still without a date for its debut), in co-production with Sony Teleset; together with another of the signal’s original stories.

“We are in the pre-production of an 80-episode romantic comedy, an original from Imagen Televisión, starring Jorge Salinas; with a cinematographic format, independent cameras, with directors coming from the film industry, which will give the production added visual and storytelling value,” he added.

Additionally, there will be new co-productions and acquisitions, that they will look for in international fairs like Mipcom, where La Taxista will travel as part of the Comarex distribution catalog.
