The advertising and production community is mourning the loss of Doug Magallon, a respected producer remembered for his passion, dedication, and the genuine warmth he brought to every project and collaboration.

Doug worked on numerous campaigns throughout his career, including early work in the Hispanic market at Mendoza, Dillon in California, where he collaborated closely with creatives and directors shaping some of the era’s most memorable work. Among those moments is a Pacific Bell shoot directed by Nick Mendoza, a project remembered not only for its creative ambition, but for the camaraderie and energy Doug brought to set.

Those who worked alongside him describe Doug as a deeply committed producer, someone who cared about the work, the process, and—most importantly—the people behind it. Beyond his professional talent, he was known as a kind, grounded, and genuinely great person to be around.
