John DeSimone VP and general manager of Azteca América TV Spot Sales

Azteca América announces that John DeSimone has been appointed vice president, general manager of Azteca América TV Spot Sales. Based out of Azteca América’s sales offices in New York City, DeSimone will oversee sales and revenue on the national spot level for all Azteca América affiliates, with staff in sales offices located in New York, Los Angeles, Miami, Chicago, Dallas and San Antonio. His past experience includes vice president, director of Sales for Univision’s New York stations, as well as vice president of National Sales for New York with Univision. “John brings a solid track record of over a decade of experience in Spanish-language televisión. We’re excited to have his organizational and motivational skills here at Azteca America,” said Bob Turner, president of Network Sales.
